Kevin P. Fontenot
About
Attorney Kevin Fontenot grew up in Basile, Louisiana. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor's degree in Political Science and History from Northwestern State University. He graduated from Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University. During law school, he was awarded CALI awards for highest grade in Contracts as well as in Legal Research and Writing. Kevin was admitted to the Louisiana Bar Association in 2006. He believes that his personal background, growing up in a farming family in rural Evangeline Parish, allows him to bring a common sense approach to the practice of law, providing his clients with friendly yet passionate representation in every case.
Over the last 15 years Kevin has practiced as a litigation attorney and represented large clients, such as industrial "plant" facilities, as well as small businesses and individuals in conection with hundreds of legal disputes. Kevin currently maintains an office practice as well as a litigation practice, focusing primarily on real estate transactions, estate planning and successions, business litigation, and personal injury.
